Our Open Webinar Programme is a great opportunity to sample some cultural training first-hand, see some of our intercultural and country experts in action, and find out more about the different cultural topics that we deliver.
Cultural Spotlight: Working With The Chinese
Due to the interest in this event, we have added this additional session, delivered in the evening (UK time), which will also work for colleagues and companies based in the US.
This introductory session is aimed at anyone in today’s workforce requiring improved skills to communicate, operate and collaborate with colleagues, clients, customers, suppliers or stakeholders, in China.
International business people and assignees, whether remote or co-located, require self-awareness and in-depth cultural knowledge (or intelligence) of the ways in which a different culture approaches business and business relationships. In order to build stronger relationships, make culturally informed decisions and work more effectively, it is important to appreciate cultural sensitivities and to understand the business implications resulting from the impact of different cultural attitudes, values, beliefs, and communication and work styles.
Being able to recognise cultural differences, and work with them, is the key to successful international working relationships.
Our Cultural Training focusses on the elements that improve participants’ effectiveness when interacting with people from another culture, and provides them with the tools and techniques necessary to adapt their message and working style in order to build trust and make the right impressions. Our Cultural Training Programmes can be tailored to specific client objectives, and we can deliver intensive courses, one day, half day, or short sessions, remotely or face to face.
